JGSDF camouflage model. This is a Japan Ground Self-Defense Force bulletproof vest. It features pockets for 30-round magazines of the Type 89 rifle, allowing for a total of six magazines to be stored. It also replicates details such as a right shoulder pad that doesn't interfere with shooting, an enlarged collar to protect the neck, loops on the upper back for attaching camouflage material, and loops on the lower back for attaching equipment. The interior is made of urethane, making it lightweight, but it does not offer bulletproof or blade-resistant protection. A collar cover is attached with Velcro to prevent the combat bulletproof vest from getting dirty.
